Evidence provided to Senate Environment and Communications Legislation Committee

In May I provided evidence to the Senate Environment and Communications Legislation Committee’s inquiry into the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Amendment (Standards and Assurance) Bill 2021.

This occurred following my written submission to the Inquiry, which can be downloaded here, and after my work as a member of the Consultative Group as part of the Independent Review of the EPBC Act

You can read the 2 page summary I provided to the Committee here, as well as my answer to a question on notice from Senator Hanson-Young. And if you’re keen to see what it looks like to provide evidence in a Senate Standing Committee, see the video below (or via ParlView, from 14:17)!

Update: The Committee has released its report. Some news coverage here.
